Foundation...is to your face what clothes are to your body. When using the right product, foundation can provide protection to your face as well as even your skin tone and allow an even palette to apply makeup.
*tip* Mix equal parts foundation and moisturizer for a light natural finish.
Eyebrows...should be maintained at all times. Waxing and tweezing is most effective. A well groomed brow finishes a face. If needed fill in brows with a pencil and then brush them for a natural look.
Concealer...is not meant to be worn alone and is to be applied underneath foundation.
Eyeshadow...is fun! The more the merrier is my motto but the wrong application can ruin even the best shadow so choose good brushes. Also eye primer is a must if you want your eyeshadow to last all day long.
Blush...should be applied from your ear to the apple of your cheek. Layering blush with bronzing powder or shimmer can give it more staying power and make you "glow". Apply loose powder over blush if you overdo it.
Lipstick...I love lipstick! Be sure to fill in your lips when using liner before lipstick. Lining only the outside gives a harsh and dated appearance. Remember that darker lipstick shades make lips appear smaller.
Eyeliner...is supposed to make your eyes appear bigger. Practice makes perfect!
Mascara...is the best makeup product ever created!Mascara makes everyone's eyes prettier. Be sure that you're using the correct mascara for your eyelash type. I prefer the ones that lengthen, thicken and separate all in one.
*tip* Makeup remover is a must for safely and effectively removing eye makeup. It also helps preserve your eyelashes as opposed to just rubbing the makeup off with soap and water.
